What is bridging finance?

Bridging finance is short term finance or loan to give you access to your funds that will only otherwise be available to you upon actual registration of the property transfer or bond in the deeds office. This registration process could take up to 8 weeks or longer. Bridging finance bridges this gap between approval and registration.

How much can I apply for?

Estate agents can apply for up to 85 % of their commission
Property owners can apply for up to 80% of their proceeds
When can I apply?
Once all suspensive conditions have been fulfilled and the full purchase price secured

Property Seller Finance

Normally the Bridgeworx application form is completed by the seller’s transferring attorney and signed by the seller. Thereafter Bridgeworx’s credit department will assess the transaction and depending on the value may need to view certain transaction documents. Once the deal is approved payment can be made.

Agent Commission Finance

Complete the enquiry page application form
Once completed please ensure it is signed by you and the principal of the agency. Then send this with the sale agreement to info@bridgeworx.co.za
Bridgeworx’s credit department will quickly assess the deal and once we have an undertaking from the transferring attorney will be ready for payment.
The key criteria are purchase price secure and suspensive conditions met.
